music being played at too high a volume for a retail outlet where the aim of the 'Musack' should be to lull the customer
into a relaxed state where they then browse and shop more.. instead of assaulting them with Dance Music for Seventeen-Year-Olds!
However.. I have been in your store at least three times per week for the past number of weeks and Halleluja!
The silence is deafening! Is the sound system broken? Have the girls in 'the office' been told the customer comes first?
Anyway, whatever it is - keep it up. Very pleasant to shop in and the good mark is mainly for the staff who, in the main, are more than helpful.. - Fred Pamsney Added 19/07/2019★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The biggest 'off-putting' in this premises is the music policy in the store. It seems to be dictated by the 'girls in the office'. Dance music for 17 year olds is not the music which sooths customers into browsing and more shopping.
Just the opposite in fact. Whenever I enter this store and what I call 'the screaming female vocal' music is playing the only thought that enters my head is 'Let's get outta here as quick as possible!'
I have brought the problem on many occasions to the attention of managers, who immediately say 'you're right.. I'll do something about it right away'. And they do.
